Everytime I update my pc it still says important updates are pending once I boot up RRS feed

  • I checked the update history and Ive got 10 identical entries all saying

    Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709

    I set a time, my pc goes through the motions then once it boots back up I get the same update reminder message

  • Maybe the Win components at add/remove need to be enabled.Also,if updates fail or remane active,in cmd or run,type: services.msc  in msc,scroll thru,any being disabled should be set to "Manual" run,double click on a service to edit.In manual,it at least gives Win OS the ability to run....

    Please confirm if the update is installed successfully.(Settings -> Update & Security -> View installed update history)

    And you could also provide a screenshot about the issue. Upload the screenshot onto OneDrive and share link here, if the screenshot contains the privacy information, please hide it.

    Here are some ways may help you solve the problem.

    1. Please refer the following link and run the Windows Update troubleshooter.

        Fix Windows Update issues:

    2. Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) by taking following these steps:

        2.1 Open an administrative Command Prompt window.

        2.2 Type following command and then press Enter.

               sfc /scannow

        2.3  After the scan is finished, try to install updates again.

    3. Reset the Windows Update Components, please refer the following link.

    If all methods can't work, please help us collect the cbs.log (%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log) , windowsupdate.log (%windir%\windowsupdate.log) , CheckSUR.log (%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log), post them onto OneDrive and share the link here, which can help us do more research.
