No CU for Windows 10 1607 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    We have SCCM CB 1610.

We do not see Cumulative Updates for Windows 10 1607. For instance latest one is KB 3216755.

I can see 1511 build CU and RTM but not 1607.

    What is left unchecked?

  • You don't see any updates, when searching for '1607' in the All Software Updates Node?

My Console shows KB3213986 as latest Cumulative Update for Windows 10 1607, even though the official doc says something different: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4011347

  • Yes. If I search 1607 I got two Adobe Flash updates. If I search KB3213986 I got CU for Windows Server 2016 for x64. In Software Update Point settings I checked only Windows 10

  • What did you select on the Classifications Tab?

  • You did run a SUP Sync after enabling the Windows 10 Products in the Settings?

  • I enabled them when I installed server last year.

  • This KB released end of january is also missing in my environment. The last one i see is that which should be replaced mentioned in Simon's link:

  • I found it:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4011347

At the top: "This release is only available on the Microsoft Update Catalog website"

So the only way to get this CU is Update Catalog:

  • But how to get KB3213986 for Windows 10? It would also be sufficient for me.

Because you see what I see in my console.

  • Original question is how to see Cumulative updates for Windows 10 1607 and for example I mentioned KB3216755. Michael I saw that article before so I can't accept your answer.

Main question remains. How to get Cumulative Updates for Windows 10 1607 in SCCM console?

    Friday, March 10, 2017 7:38 AM
  • That doesn't answer my question. Just enabling them won't bring them into ConfigMgr. Did you run a successful SUP Sync after enabling the Products?

  • It happens every night, so yes.

  • Side note: All of those drivers, servicing, and Anniversary products you have selected above are not valid for ConfigMgr deployment and are just bloating your catalog -- you should uncheck those.

  • There's nothing special to do here assuming you have the correct classification selected and the correct product.

Do the updates that you are looking for appear in WSUS? If so, are the declined there or are they set to not approved?

  • I do not see these updates also in WSUS in any category.
    Monday, March 13, 2017 6:32 AM
  • Yes. I can distribute Windows 10 1607 feature updates, before that I couldn't.

    Monday, March 13, 2017 7:07 AM
  • What does the Synchronization Node in the WSUS Console tell? Were the Synchronizations successfull? Are you using a WSUS Upstream Server?

    Simon Dettling | msitproblog.com | @SimonDettling

    Monday, March 13, 2017 7:08 AM
  • All synchronizations are Green.

All config is done via SCCM.

    Monday, March 13, 2017 7:16 AM
  • Searching for updates in WSUS is not completely straight-forward so if you are sure that you are searching correctly and it's not there. You've got some sort of WSUS issue. I've never heard of anything like this ever though so it's worth going back into WSUS and searching for any Windows 10 updates at all.

Can you post screenshots of the products and classifications configured directly in WSUS and also the results of your search in WSUS?

  • If you scroll further down on the last Screen, there are definitely no 1607 Updates?

  • No 1607 updates
