PWA: copy a project RRS feed

  • Question

  • It is possible to copy a project using PWA?  I've already set up one project, I'd like to create several more with basically the same structure.  I tried creating a new project then copying and pasting the task list out of the orignal one and into the new one, but the task level structure and resource allocations, and also the links between tasks, all disappeared.

  • Steve,

As you have discovered it is not possible to copy projects from within PWA. You could use Project professional to save the project as a template and recreate new projects with that new template.

  • Thanks for the response Prasanna!

PWA does seem to have a number of unfortunate limitations.
