Disable 'x' on a Windows 7 Gadget RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I've developed a gadget that populates itself with notifications and information that is important to our users.  The only problem is we want to keep these gadgets up at all times and not let the users close them.  I see a few ways that this could be done, but I don't know if any of them are possible.  Please let me know if I could do any of the following:

    1) Remove the menu (red 'x' box, handle) from the gadget entirely

    2) Use some sort of onClosing function that runs an external script that reopens the gadget so the gadget is just reopened whenever it closes

    3) Launch a gadget using the command prompt

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
