Based on may research, there are so many different methods for fixing this kind of issue.

The error message isn’t accurate enough for us to provide troubleshooting steps.

So, firstly you can run chkdsk in WinRE.

    • Press F8 while your computer is booting.
    • On the Advanced Boot Options menu, use the arrow keys to highlight Repair your computer, and then press Enter.
    • On the System Recovery Options menu, click command prompt to open.
    • Type "chkdsk /f" then enter.

  • What Is Disk Read Error

Windows has a built-in test tool which often warns you there is an error on your hard drive or partition. Among many kinds of warnings, the disk read error is a very common issue which is thought to be extremely dreadful. Usually, this error occurs as soon as your computer boots up, which doesn’t allow the computer to enter into its operating systems. This error appears in such a message “A disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart“.

    1: Check BIOS Setting.

    2: Reset BIOS

    3: Test Your Hard Drive

4.Check Your Hard Disk IDE Cables

    5.Test RAM
