No sounds on webpages RRS feed

    Hi, can you help me.

    I cannot hear sounds from webpages ( except your suggested windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/mee where music is heard )

    Also when I download a webpage and play back, sounds play but via Windows Media Player of course, where sound output is fine, also via CD.

    my system is:-

    Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer Inc., A8V Deluxe
    Antivirus: AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2013, Updated: Yes, On-Demand Scanner: Enabled

    This happens on both Firefox and Internet Explorer

    I have installed the latest ver of Firefox and Flash

    Box "play music from webpages" is checked
