What are these folders? Shared folders or own account folder?
In case there is something wrong with the navigation pane settings, we could try running the /resetnavpane command removes all customizations to the navigation pane. To do this, please close Outlook and then go to Start > Run. In the Open box, type
Outlook.exe /resetnavpane, and then choose OK.
If issue persists, please create a new profile via Control Pane > Mail > Show Profiles > Add.
