  • Question

We've done many installs on users machines of Web Professional (6.3) and they've gone fine.  We're using Internet Explorer.

I'm having a problem with one user though.  Professional has been installed on his machine, but now it keeps prompting us to download ProClarity Download Manager.  I've checked his Internet Explorer settings and can't find anything that looks different than other users that are succesfully using it in our environment.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Did that fix the issue?  Are there any other popup blockers, like yahoo or google toolbar that would block the popup?  Are you seeing the download manager download box appear?  If you're seeing it appear and clicking "Run" but it's still failing, try saving the file to the desktop and running it from there.  You could also copy the the DownloadManager.exe file from the server directly to the client.  The file should be located on the PAS server at this (default) location: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\PAS\en\pasbin

  • Hi oSprey,

The first thing to check is make sure that all popup blockers are disabled - that's the most common cause of that error.

Yes, the pop up blockers in Internet Explorer are disabled.
