Delete a SCOM view with Powershell

    Question

  • Hi,

Yeah so how do you delete a state view you created that is (mistakenly) scoped to ALL OBJECTS? It's taking forever to load and the console pretty much dies. Won't load an option to delete it with GUI either.

    (Asking for a friend) :D

    Cheers

  • Hi Xin,

Thanks for suggesting the SDK apporach, it was a good way indeed, but luckily I didn't have to use it. I was able to delete the view from console.

    Hi Gourav,

Thanks for the suggestion. I am aware there is no cmdlet in Powershell to directly delete a view, that's why I asked for maybe a more elaborate/complex script that could do it. :)

Like I said I was able to delete it from the console.

    Cheers
