Sometimes Emails are not receving & not sending . Have to close & reopen the Outlook Client RRS feed

  • we have noticed that most users are having a issue that Sometimes Emails are not receving & not sending . Mails are receiving with Webmail & sending mails are getting stuck in outbox.

    Have to close & reopen the Outlook Client for download & send the emails.

    this is not in a specified users.Most users are having. but not in the same time for all users.

    can't identify a pattern.

    Outlook versions are 2013 & 2016.

    Your question is not readable. 

    So the issue is most users have send and receive error, or not sending or receiving emails problem. And requires close and restart Outlook to fix it. 

    Since Outlook send receive error occurs due to many reasons and causes, it is difficult to suggest an exact solution. You can refer the following blog which discusses the same. Try the various solutions suggested and check whether the issue can be resolved or not.

    What's the type of the affected account?
    What if pressing F9 (Send and Receive) when the issue occurs?

    When the issue occurs, please have a look at the connection status of the mailbox via the status bar at the lower-right corner of the window and see if it shows as "Connected" or "Connected to: Microsoft Exchange". 

    Besides, it is suggested to check if the affected users have installed any third-party add-ins in common which may lead to this issue.
