Tanjay (LG-Nortel) tries to download certificate from fron-end server instead of DC?

Question
-
I've just upgrade 3 Tanjay phones to 1.0.522.34(1.23). All of them got upgraded ok, but only two of them can login to OCS after upgraded. The last one got the error message like below:
"Cannot download certificate because domain is not accessible. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator"
I've checked the configuration of all the phones in the "About" screen, and they're identical except for the IP address and MAC address (obviously).
From the debugging traces, the last phone tries to download certificate from OCS Front-End server instead of domain controller. This is very confusing since all of them receives the same DHCP configuration and I don't know how could one of them be different.
Anyone know how to fix this problem? The current version don't have an "Exit" button to close MOC, the "Send logs" button at the "About" screen is grayed out, too.- Moved by Matt Sousa - MSFT Thursday, December 17, 2009 11:06 PM forum migration (From:Telephony)

You can use the Software Update Service for OCS to collect logfiles from Tanjay phones

You just need to reset the Tanjay to default factory setting.
You can see this button near the presence led (right).
use a small pen, clip, or needle.

Well, I've deployed Software Update Service but I guess the client doens't have any log files (the send log button is grayed out), thus there's no log file in the logs/client folder on Update Service.

Tried it several times, just make the calibration screen re-appear, but the certificate problem still exits.- Proposed as answer by Lakshay Gupta Wednesday, May 11, 2011 6:32 AM

The Tanjay 8540 doesn't allow me to access Option before log-in, and there's no way I know of can enable logging before log-in!Monday, May 12, 2008 10:45 AM

You must update to the latest firmware.
Enable Logging and then logoff and login again

i had the same exact issue and found that there are two ways to logon to the domain. At first i was putting in Domain\username becuase the is how you do it in Communicator and Lync, but i keept getting the certificate error. After changing the logon to username@domain.com it was able to download the certifcifate and authenticate me.
