When I burn a DVD in Windows8 media player it will not play on a DVD player. I've tried several players and brought the DVD to Best Buy. The players can't read the DVD, all the geeks could tell me was " I'd have to download a driver" Any suggestions ?

Hi,
Here's a few good links on the subject:
http://www.howtogeek.com/127774/how-to-play-dvds-on-windows-8/
http://www.extremetech.com/computing/142796-how-to-play-dvds-and-blu-ray-discs-in-windows-8
http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57547497-285/how-to-watch-dvds-in-windows-8/
Personally I use two good third party video players:
VideoLAN's VLC: http://www.videolan.org/
Media Player Classic: http://mpc-hc.org/
You're actually asking this question in the wrong forum though, this forum is for suggestions and feedback on the forums themselves. I would recommend posting a question over in the Windows forums here if the links above don't do the trick for you:

Good luck, hope it works out for you.
