  • Hello. Just installed my Insider Preview, and can't get ethernet to work. It just says Network Cable Unplugged. Had tried everything i could find. Disabling/enabling, reinstalling drivers, another cable, it just wont work. Maybe you have any ideas? Motherboard MSI Z97 U3 PLUS. insider prieview build 10125.

    Build 10125 is supposed to be not supported here.

    As suggested by Gérald Mathieu, download Windows 10 build 10074 and then upgrade to build 10130, if the Network adapter does not work, check it using Device manager and update the driver there.

    Or you may contact the manufacturer side and see if they could offer any further assistance.

  • Are you using Hyper-V? On Build 10130, there is a known issue with bridged network adapters. If you are using the adapter with a Hyper-V virtual switch or otherwise using bridged network adapters, you may want to try disabling the bridge and using the adapter natively.

    10125? This is a leaked build (not supported).

    I'll suggest you to reinstall 10074, see if your network card is working then update to 10130 and see if the problem is still present.
