Unable to establish calls from MOC to Cisco IP phones and vice versa, error Reason: Q.850;cause=47 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

    We are trying to get MOC to dial out to a Cisco IP phone and vice versa.

    Here is our setup:

    IP phone--->CUCM--->Cisco ISR---> Mediation Server--->MOC

    The ISR strips the + before sending to CUCM

    When we dial from MOC, we see in the mediation server log:

    >>>>>>>>>>>>Outgoing SipMessage c=[<SipTcpConnection_2BDA441>], MediationServerIP:61771->X.X.X.X:5060
    INVITE sip:1001@X.X.X.X;user=phone SIP/2.0
    FROM: <sip:+71234@medsrv1.pocforest.com;user=phone>;epid=2EA5FE8684;tag=3b80625422
    TO: <sip:1001@X.X.X.X;user=phone>

    where X.X.X.X is the Cisco ISR 12.4t gateway

    SIP/2.0 100 Trying

    TO: <sip:1001@X.X.X.X;user=phone>;tag=5DBE5F74-169C

    Finally it errors out

    The phone rings but as soon as we pick it up, the call disconnects.

    Please can someone guide what may be the issue on Cisco side?
