    Is there a way to restrict the users to edit or make changes in the folders on mapped network drive and certain users can only have permission to view the folders but not allowed to make changes to the folders in the network drive?

    Hello,

    Yes, set the ntfs permission to Modify for users that you need to grant read/write and set read only for the the users that need that option...if you need further clarification, please post you sample scenerio and we can guide you
