PSTN Gateway Cisco SPA8800 (Linksys) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Has anyone tried to connect Lynk and Cisco's (linksys) voip gateway!? In topology I added ip address of spa8800 in pstn gateways and include it to mediation pool. In spa8800 on phone or line interface I tried set only ip address and port of mediation (Proxy), but with this configuration linksys even not started registration on mediation server, if I set random login and password, linksys started registration, but feil it with this error:

  • diSia,

Mediation server is a B2BUA and can not process Register requests.

Why does spa8800 need to register with Mediation Server ?

By the way spa8800 does not seem to be listed on Unified Communications Open Interoperability Program.
