  • Hi Magesh Selvam,

1.>I have one of the issues in windows server 2008 R2 . i installed wsus 3.0 SP 2 on that server.

What is the version of WSUS server 2008 R2, if it is not 3.2.7600.274, please install KB2938066 to upgrade your WSUS server. What's more, since you have WIN10 clients, we'd better to set up WSUS 4.0 on server 2012 or 2012 R2.

    2. >Client systems This is for non active directory domain its in workgroup environment

Please check the following article to verify if you configured WSUS clients in non-domain environment correctly:

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708574(v=ws.10).aspx

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc720464(v=ws.10).aspx

    3. > Am using window 8 and 10 client whenever i checked the update for client side its not sync with my wsus server

Could these clients show up in the WSUS console and report to WSUS server recently?

Check DNS resolution and network connection between WSUS server and WSUS clients.

Also try resetting windows update components on these clients:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058

    4. > checking update says its up to date or sometime error msg

What is the error message, please check windows update log locates in C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log.

    Best Regards,

    Anne
