I just updated from Office 2013 to Office 2016. RRS feed

  • Question

  • My Outlook data files were previously corrupted, and I am trying to repair them. The program Scanpst.exe does not exist on my computer/ How do I get it?

Documentation on your site(s) says the program is there. Why the discrepancy and how do I get around this impasse?

  • Did you look for it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16 ?

Try pasting this line in the address bar if you use 32bit office (most people do): C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\SCANPST.EXE

    This should work for 64bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\SCANPST.EXE
