Sync users calendar to Public Calendar RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

Is there a way to sync my and other's calendar to a public folder calendar?
I have found out CodeTwo Exchange sync can to this..

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=uvxDKd0S7tA

But using $690 for 8 users to sync to a public calendar isn't a option.

Is there any other way to do this?

  • Hi,

As far as I know, Exchange doesn't have such a function, there is may be a workaround for you:

    1. Create a separate room mailbox which called "Shared calendar"

    2. Modify it with commands below:

Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity "Shared calendar" -AutomateProcessing AutoAccept -AllowConflicts $true

    3. Then create inbox rule for those mailboxes(Forward meeting request to this  separate room mailbox automatically):

    4. Give this room mailbox's full access permission to those user mailboxes.

In this way, those users meeting request will be forward to this shared room mailbox, then can check in this shared room mailbox.

  • Hi,

    Sorry for late reply.

No, This doesn't work the way I thought.

When user ceates calendar entry, this should sync to shared calendar.
And other users should be able to see who created it.
