Adding A records

Question

Hello
I have contacted my public domain provider to add A records...they said I need to create a sub domain first and then add records..
what is it I need to do now?
I have 4 A records
sip.abc.com
webconf.abc.com
av.abc.com
access.abc.com
I have no idea what a sub domain is and does it change my configuration or urls?

Hi Lexi,
Welcome to our forum.
As I am concerned, you could not create subdomain in your organization for adding 4 records in ISP. I suggest you contact your ISP again and tell them that you just add 4 records. If they give you same result that you need to create subdomain, please refer to Shankar’s suggestion to ask to them why you should create subdomain.
If there are any questions or issues, please be free to let me know.
