Cannot access apache behing UAG RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am having problems accessing a Joomla site running on Apache behind my UAG. I have managed to publish a normal site running on IIS just by putting the website http://help in and away it went... my joomla site runs on a server called intranet so I have put http://intranet in and I am getting an error

You are not authorized to access this application. For assistance contact the site administrator. Navigate back and follow another link, or type in a different URL.

When I loook in the web monitor logs it shows

A request from source IP address *blanked out* , user admin to trunk portal; Secure=1 failed because the application server, port, or path is configured incorrectly. The URL is http://intranet:80/

Typing http://intranet :80 inside school it works fine... and when I am in school I can change the external IP to one I can access and the site shows...

I have messed around with the paths and changed the / to /index.php but it still fails. HELP PLEASE

Any advice would be great.. I am stuck

  • Hi,

if you set the internal IP of your Joomla server instead of the name in the IP/server box in the configuration of this Web Application in UAG, does it work ? from your UAG server, can you access resolve the name intranet ?

  • Hi,

In the UAG Management console, in the Application Properties for the Joomla application, go to the Web Servers tab. Do you have there port 80 configured, in the HTTP Ports box?
