Windows 2012 Virtual Machine Guest Clustering issue - Super fast failover cluster RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi

    1. I implemented Windows server 2012 Cluster that contains 2 servers (Windows 2012 Datacenter edition) and configure failover clustering and Hyper V

    2. I created 2 virtual machines with Windows 2012 standard edition and add them to the hyper V host cluster

    3. I enabled virtual fiber channel on each hyper V host and gave the same name for the virtual fiber channel on both of hyper V hosts and connected each virtual

machine guest to the respective fiber channel adapter.

    4. I connected both virtual machine guests to the shared Storage LUNs

    5. I created the failover cluster inside the guest machines and everything went fine without errors.

problem: when I share any folder in the hyper V guest machines on a volume that is from the storage and then go to any child folder sharing properties the windows explorer stops responding, and after 4 to 5 minutes I see the child folders properties sharing tab with an empty network path attribute.

can you help me solve this problem
