AD Best Practices Analyzer for Win 2008

    Question

  • I noticed ADBPA is not available for Windows 2008 SP1, non-R2. Is there a download for ADBPA that is compatible for Win 2008 SP1, non-R2? Thank you in advance

  • Hi

AFAIK BPA is avaible tool at least Server 2008 r2.(include DS.)So for older system you should manually check the system.Like "dcdiag","repadmin","Active Directory Replication Status Tool",etc..

Active Directory Replication Status Tool ; https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30005

    dcdiag ; https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731968(v=ws.11).aspx

    repadmin ; https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770963(v=ws.11).aspx

also check the article for "Requirements for Installing AD DS"
