    App-v 5.1 RDS client fails to publish 2 out of 33 packages using SCCM and streaming.

    With App-v 5.0 Sp3 there was no problem. The packages can be published from a share but not from the Sccm distribution point using HTTPS.

    It's using the NO_CERT path so there should be no certificate issues for those two packages.

    Last week we tried to move from App-v 5.0 SP3 to App-v 5.1 in our Server 2012R2 citric xenapp 7.5 environment and then we got those problems.

    I am sure using download instead of streaming would work, but that is not a solution,considering other problems like app-v 5.1 crash (noted in another blog) we are moving back to App-v 5.0 Sp3.

    any considerations on the publishing issue? Anyone else that has had the same issue?

    Just a workaround try removing any spaces if present in the path and replace them with underscores. 

    I heard somewhere that it is a bug in App-V 5.1 where spaces cause errors. Microsoft is looking into it.

    Are you using the MSI Wrapper or the native App-V Deployment Type in ConfigMgr?

    If you are using the native App-V Deployment Type, this is currently not supported for App-V 5.1. See Supported versions of System Center Configuration Manager (last chapter)

    We are seeing a similar problem with the App-V 5.1 client (not RDS) and streaming from our SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 environment.  I have several packages that refuse to stream via HTTP from our distribution point.  If I change the deployment option to download and run locally, it works fine.  If I uninstall the App-V 5.1 client and install the App-V 5.0 SP3 client, streaming works.  The App-V packages were all sequenced with a App-V 5.0 SP3 sequencer.

    AppV5.1 Hotfix1 should solve this issue.
