continuous Hyper-V backup using DPM 2012 RRS feed

  • It is posible ti implement a 15 minutes replication of VMs using DPM 2012? How?

  • DPM 2012 have Change Block Tracking for stand alone Hyper-V hosts , then you can get to one hour without hammering the filesystem of the Hyper-V host.

    If you have a hardware vss provider for your storage on 2008 R2 clusters you should be able to get to one hour but you will still hit redirection for a short time every hour

    DPM 2012 with Windows Server 2012 have the same feature for Clusters but in a Window Server 2012 i would look at Hyper-V replica for disaster recovery protection and DPM 2012 for backup

    But to answer your question right now i would say No
