    This happen every time we are doing DPM recovery as virtual machine to any host. Because i couldn't found any source / reference from the website for this issue.

  • Hi i have escalate this issue to Microsoft SCDPM, but they point back to Hyper-V so at least i understand how to troubleshoot for this issue.

    Maybe u can help on this.

    It looks like the configuration file of the virtual machine is broken.

    You can try to re-create a new VM with this VM’s vhd to see the result.

    But from DPM itself it's failed.
