Accessing HTTPS via ISA 2000 RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

I've managed to get the ISA 2000 running but unable to access HTTPS sites (Such as Banking sites). Whenever it was directed there, it will show a blank page or unable to connect.

I've tried listing the destination IP in the destination set but to no avail.

Secondly, I've installed the ISA mmc on a XP computer and whenever I tried to connect to the ISA computer, it will jus say "The remote server is unavailable" with details 0x800706ba "The RPC server is unavailable" or 0x8004033b "The operation failed"

    Please advice. Thanks!

  • I would direct this question to the ISA forums, this is Forefront Client Security. For your XP remote admin console, you need to enable that in ISA and allow that computer account to connect for remote administration. There are guides out there to do this, but I would start in the right forum first.
