Hello! Just got this problem, looks like that http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937063, but hotfix didn't help.
I installed Vista 4 days ago, it worked well all these days and today the problems occurred.
When I start the computer it loads Windows and then shows me just black screen. I tap CTRl+ALT+DEL, open task manager and see that explorer.exe didn't start. I start explorer.exe via "Run..." in task manager, the Desktop arrives but in a minute the computer starts reloading.
I don't know what even to think ;-)
If you have any suggestions I would be glad to receive them
I am and have been having similar issues, only differences are I'm using "Vista Ultimate SP1 x86(32-bit) [doesn't restarts by it's own, though], but 'explorer.exe' doesn't load on either a restart or on a cold-start! Besides the issues described above, my machine and OS seems to be running just about what's to be expected of it, without any real-noticeable problematic events. what should i try/do WHAT SHOULD I DO/TRY...???(besides reloading and/or reinstalling Windows Vista Ultimate SP1) ? ? ? ? ?
