How to add an Active Directory attribute to Exchange Control Panel for users to update RRS feed

  • Question

  • We'd like to add an Active Directory attribute to the Exchange Control Panel for users to update in their My Account. Is there a white paper or guide on how to do this?

  • You probably need a 3rd party product to do this.  From what I can tell, what you see in ECP is what you get.

  • Sorry for not getting back sooner. It looks like changing the fields in My Account, out of the box, isn't possible. I think Jim's and AD's post are dead on. I've spoken to our mgmt with the suggestion they work with our programming folks to find a way to write a custom My Account page if possible.

  • There are some simple third party solutions that do some of what you are looking to do.  Contact me off list at jim (at) cta.net if you are interested in any recommendations.
