Consequence of changing project name... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

In the past we use the project code as the project name. We decide to change the project name. Now, people have some task in their time sheet that has the old project name and the new one.

    Could anyone have an explication?

    Thanks!

  • If you delete and recreated the timesheet, does it work properly?

    Cheers!

  • I have experience of performing the activity; there is no issue at all.
Only the closed, submitted and approved timesheet period still have the old name, if you still want to changes then respective resource open and recall the timesheet for the same.

If the timesheet in in progress mode, you can ask user to recall the submitted back. As per the SSRS point you won't find any issue.

So, you can change the project name.
