Download and install windows updates on shutdown only

  • Hi There

    Can someone help me on how i configure group policy to check, download and install windows updates on shutdown only.

  • Hi tonysolinas,

    1. When the computer is shut down, it can not download and install updates. Maybe you want to know how to configure GPO to make computers download and install updates on non-working time;

    2. Windows update settings are in the following path of GPO: computer configuration>policies>Administrative Templates>windows components>windows update:

    You may enable policy "Configure automatic update":
