trying to watch live webcast from church website RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to watch a live broadcast from gracebapt.org from Mozilla Firefox. My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium in 2007. I downloaded Windows Media Player 11.  When I tried to access the broadcast, I get the message that I need to download Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin and then I don't know which Firefox Plugin to select from this list:

    • Windows XP SP2 (x86)
    • Windows XP SP2 (x64)
    • Windows Vista (x86)
    • Windows Vista (x64)
    • Windows 7 (x86)
    • Windows 7 (x64)

    Can you help me, please?

Thank you very much in advance.

Answers

  • you should install the Windows Media player Plugin

    Installing the plugin

    1. Go to the plugin download page on Interoperability Bridges.
      • The Interoperability Bridges page also contains more detailed installation instructions.
    2. Click "Download Now" You will be prompted to save a file.
    3. Save the file to your desktop.
    4. Once it has downloaded, run it, and the plugin will install.
    5. When the installation has finished, close and restart Firefox:
      1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (File menu in Windows XP) and then click Exit.
      2. When Firefox has completely closed, start Firefox up again.

    Testing the plugin

The following link is to a test page that requires the Windows Media Player plugin. If the player loads and plays, then the plugin is installed correctly:
