  • Question

  • Hi guys,

Is there a way to get S4B to ask for people’s names, play beeps when people join/leave and also have some background music until the 2nd party joins?

  • Yeah, you'll want to use the management shell to set that.  The below command will set it everywhere:

    Get-CsDialInConferencingConfiguration | Set-CsDialInConferencingConfiguration -EnableNameRecording $True -EntryExitAnnouncementsType "UseNames"

  • If a leader or authenticated user joins, then no background music and there's no option to play any.  If you're talking about a non-leader joining, they should already hear background music.

  • Thanks for the answer.

Any chance to ask for the people’s names when they join the conference ans also saying who is joining/leaving the conference? In this way anyone knows who is joining/leaving the conference.
