2008 64 bit install RRS feed

    Just downloaded and installed Win 2008 64 bit on to a new IBM machine.   I double checked and it is trhe 64 bit install.  I had to use the 32 bit to activate the install, and the Server manager only displays  Windows 2008 Standard.  How do I tell if it is the 64 bit install ?

    Hi,

     

    To check the system type, please click Start, right-click Computer and click Properties. It will show “32bit Operating System” or “64bit Operating System” on the system type line.

     

    You can only use a 32bit key to activate a 32bit system.
