Scaling up client protection RRS feed

  • Question

  • The URL here ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg513857.aspx) talks about how to change registry entries to modify the maximum number of tasks.  It appears these registry values have changed for DPM 2012?  The key is now TaskController and there are already "English" keys instead of GUID's.

Does anyone know the equivalent changes or documentation on increasing the number of concurrent tasks?

  • Come on Microsoft...no response on a previously documented configuration for DPM 2010?  Any comment at all?

  • Any comment? Is it going to remain the same or change? Just some clarification on how to scale up the client protection so those with a signficant investment in DPM with many protected servers can have some guidance.
