How to determine from MAP SQL Express Database which user has a specific program? Example-Visio installed. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi-

How to determine from MAP SQL Express Database which user has a specific program?  Example-Visio installed.

I can connect to the MAP SQL Express Database that was created.  Under the database, I see a table for many items.  Can I generate a query based upon two tables so I can find out who has Visio installed?  Which tables would I need to use?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Query Syntax:

/****** Script for SelectTopNRows command from SSMS  ******/

    SELECT  oa.[DeviceNumber]
          ,oa.[ComputerSystemName]
     ,wa.Name
FROM [Name of your database].[Office_Assessment].[Office365Assessment] oa
, [Name of your database].[Win_Assessment].[WindowsInstalledSoftwareFull] wa
    where oa.[DeviceNumber]=wa.[DeviceNumber]

select  wa.name from [Name of your database].[Win_Assessment].[WindowsInstalledSoftwareFull] wa
