  •  We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here
If you have any questions about the procedure please ask

  • Hello Snowydavid,

Please upload the dump file as MVP Zigzag mentioned.
    Upload to OneDrive: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/add-photos-files
    Share files: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/share-file-folder

Additionally, you could sent the dump file to the email address ibswcic@microsoft.com, if you willing to.

About the Bug Check ID, please take a look at the following article.

Is the email for public use? What is it for?  ( ibswcic@microsoft.com)

  • Hello Zigzag,

Thanks for your contribution and feedback.

This email address ibswcic@microsoft.com  is aimed to protect the sensitive user information. It will be sent to TechNet Windows Client team.
The OneDrive share file is more open, and everyone can access users’ personal information. Many contributors like you can help to analyze the log and help users.
If the users are afraid of exposing the personal information, I will suggest them sending the email.

And I will let users know the difference and give them the opportunity to choose to use OneDrive or send email.

    Best regards,
    Fangzhou CHEN

Just out of curiosity I sent an email to that address and it was returned.  It was returned as undeliverable.  Seems the users email address needs to be approved before it will accept email.

Your message couldn’t be delivered because the address you’re sending to needs to know who you are before it'll let your message through.

To fix this problem, contact the recipient (by phone or instant messaging, for example) and tell them to ask their email admin to configure the recipient’s mailbox to accept messages from you.

How are users to send files?
