Downloading Windows 10-.1511

Question
-
I'm using WSUS 3.0 SP2 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. I have installed Windows 10 on my home computer, which is joined to my domain.
I'd like to install 1511 to my home computer. I did receive two "upgrade" category updates to approve. I approved both of them, but three or four times now, they have refused to finish downloading. The download status says "downloaded 9,195.15 MB of 9,195.15 MB."
I was unclear of the degree to which Windows 10 would work with WSUS 3.0. Is the 1511 upgrade really supported, and if so, why am I unable to download it?
Thanks.

To support deploy 1511 upgrade, the WSUS v6.3 need to be patched with the following hotfix:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3095113

For WSUS 3.0 SP2, I didn't get any official news about it.
Best Regards.

There are no plans to support branch upgrades on WSUS 3.2. You will need to either
a. upgrade the wSUS 3.2 to Server 2012/r2
b. move the 10 workstations to be controlled by MU and not WSUS
c. manually apply the branch upgrades when they are released

Hi Steven,
Yes, thanks, I was aware of the WSUS 4.0 hotfix. Unfortunately, I also don't know if there is anything that needs to be done to WSUS 3.0 SP2 to make it work. I haven't been able to get the upgrade to work in WSUS, and so far, the upgrade doesn't want to come down by direct updating from Microsoft.
If I had known that it would be so difficult to support Windows 10 in my current infrastructure, I would have been much more hesitant to upgrade my home PC.
