High CPU Consumption RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have Windows 7 Ultimate in my laptop, and for the past month it is running at 100% CPU all the time, making the machine very slow. When I look at Task Manager, I see that the top 2 processes are lsass.exe and WmiPrvSE.exe, with 35% each.

Any ideas on how to improve performance?

    thanks.

  • This might help,  when your on task manager, go to the Performance tab, and click the Resource Monitor button on the bottom right, click on CPU (it will bring the program thats concuming the most CPU usage) then close the program from there ot suspend it

but when you restart it will do the same thing as before

Hint  : Reload the machine with the Operatin system
