Windows Mail App RRS feed

  • Question

  • I use Windows LiveMail 2012; it works :) Microsoft are pulling the plug on it at the end of next work and "forcing" Windows 10 users to the move to the Mail App; it doesn't work!

Total garbage, Microsoft, I've had enough of your broken systems, etc., etc. you don't care a jot for your customers!!!!

  • The Mail App is useless!  Does anyone know of an email app that supports the use of Contact Groups to send emails?

  • Set up Windows Live Mail to use a Outlook.com IMAP account using the settings given here:

As long as Microsoft doesn't kill the IMAP servers, you should be able to continue to use WLM.

  • Seriously?  A quick Google would have yielded a replacement email client that supports exchange, POP, & IMAP, and to boot it is free.

    Get it here http://www.emclient.com/

  • Yes, the default email app in Windows 10 is Mail, but you could change it to any other email app that you like, if you prefer to Windows Live Mail, get it from here.

    Windows Essentials

After installing, you could try again to see the result, also, it’s convenient to configure Windows Live Mail as the default mail app.
