running Win32 to install application on a register win10 machine RRS feed

  • HI all, I am facing a problem,

    I have try to deploy app using Win32 to a registered device using required. but is not showing up any status. can win32 work on a register device?

    I have try to deploy app using win 32 to a joined machine with no issue. can anyone confirm win32 can work on a register device? 

    fyi , my machine is win10 64bit pro \ OS

    Devices must be joined to Azure AD and auto-enrolled. The Intune management extension supports Azure AD joined, hybrid domain joined, group policy enrolled devices are supported.

  • If your device is Azure AD joined (not registered) but it wasn't auto-enrolled then win32 apps won't work.

    Manual enrolment on azure AD joined doesn't work, I have faced this and also got the same resolution from Microsoft tech.

  • Yes, I have open an Microsoft ticket to verify as well. win32 can only work on joined machine and registered machine can only use line of business.
