When i attached the hard drive again it was asking about the password, and it was also accepting the password but the problem is after first 2 times of accepting the password, now its not accepting the password and recovery key as well.
Any help or guidance will be highly appreciated.

  • Hi,

Since the encryption process doesn’t complete due to accidentally unplug the cable, it may lead to data losing or damaged.

However, you can open a command prompt,  use the following command to check the BitLocker status of the C: drive:

    manage-bde -status c:

If the status is returned as locked, you’ll need to use the following command to unlock it using your recovery password:

    manage-bde -unlock c: -rp <your 48-digit recovery password>

In addition, you can download the Bitlocker Repair Tool to help recover data from a corrupted or damaged disk volume that was encrypted with Bitlocker.
