Can't install POS.net to Windows 10 RRS feed

  • I need to install SDK for Epson Printer, but it needs to install Microsoft POS.net

    but when i try install MS POS.net it is not complete.

    at step " register wmi provider " and it is rolling back action

  • Hi Ikrami, 

    Windows 10 is not support for Microsoft POS.net 1.14.1. If you want to use Epson Printer and need to install it, we recommend to install on Hyper-v and build a Windows 7 virtual device, then share your printer with hyper-v device. (Windows 10 can't be home version for using hyper-v)

  • start the setup again from an elevated command prompt with enabled logging (you probably will need to specify the path to the msi):
    msiexec /i "PosForDotNet-1.14.1.msi" /l*v "%TEMP%\log.log"
    then look into the created log file.

    POS for .NET v1.14 can be installed on the following platforms but for windows 10 please read the link below

    •  Windows 8.1
      • Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Enterprise
      • Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro
      • Windows 7
      • Windows Embedded POSReady 7
