can not find bottons on word 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have most of my documents saved on word 2003. I uploade 2010 and can not find many of the functions.

For example in the old format I can go to "View", "Toolbar", "Forms" and I was able to lock or unlock boxes or pull down menus.

I have no idea where it is whit 2010, I tried everything and it is very frustrating. I need to update some of my documents and I am stuck.

    Please help.

    Thank you

  • The Protect/Unprotect document facility is in the Review tab of the Ribbon and also on the Developer tab.  To display the Developer tab, click on File and then on Options and then on Customize Ribbon and check the box for Developer.  The controls for use in documents that are protected for forms are in the Legacy Tools folder in the Controls section of the Developer tab of the Window.
