Very Slow logging onto personal settings RRS feed

  • Question

  • Everytime I reboot or restart my computer it will take for ever to load my personal settings, then sometimes it will sit for as long as 15-minutes with a movalble cursor, but a completely black screen.  At the same time on my wife's settings I can see her desktop but nothing will execute.  This has been going on for about 3-weeks.  So can anyone tell me how to get this fixed, again slow boot to windows, slower boot to personal settings, even and sometimes never to my ( administrator) desktop showing an all black screen in the process?  Thanks
