Offline Media Size RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey Guys,

Any tips on how to get the size of the media down? I know the major cause of my media getting large is because of all the drivers being included to support all our deployed systems.

Is it possible to compress the drivers into a WIM and extract it during deployment.

    Thank for any help.

  • Hi

If you do not need everything in your deployment share you can use selection profiles to exclude some data.

    Kind regards

  • Thanks, I am using selection profiles to weed out unneeded stuff. I am looking for a better way to manage Drivers on my offline media, right now I have 20 gbs being used by just drivers.

I was wondering if there was away for me to compile the drivers by system model into a WIM and extracted them during the TS.

    Thanks
