Mails received without any Received date and time RRS feed

  • Hi

    We have experienced a strange problem. A couple of our users have received mails from outside the company, where the Received date and time is empty. I can see the date and time the mail was sent.

    Exchange 2007 SP3, Rollup package 2 with Outlook 2007 SP2 as clients.

  • Whats up when you check this from OWA
    If still the same - verify if AV is installed on the Mailbox & HT server - try disabling or removing it

    I have checked through OWA and I still don't get a received date/time.

    We have Symantec Endpoint Protection on the server, but I can't force this problem, so it will be hard to see if it changes anything.

        Are these emails from same domain or different domain?
        Are these email send from mobile phone?
        Maybe you should do the test.  You can send email from gmail\hotmail to your account. What will happen?

  • The emails came from an external sender/domain.

    As far as I know they were not send from a mobile phone.

    If I send from my personal webmail, I don't have a problem, and I know several users who use Hotmail/Gmail and they don't have the problem.
