  • Question

  • Hi Team,

I have created a meterial inside Project Server 2010 and need to add that meterial inside a Resource Plan for calculating the estimated cost for the project at the initiation phase of the project.

But the meterial is not available in Resource Plan to add, can any one please tell me the process to make the meterial available in Resource Plan

  • I do not think you can add mat resources to a resource plan.  YOu can add mat resources to a project plan via team builder but a resource plan is a bit different.  You may want to change the mat resource to a generic work resource if adding it absolutely required.

  • i have the same doubt, and as far as I could check, resource plans only allow Work Resources.

I don't understand it totally, because there is a nice Resource Type combo-box to filter the resources.

  • *BUMP*

Any news on this? - Having a Material Resource Filter would suggest material resources are supported - but when setting the filter to "All Resources" only work resources are shown :(
