  • Hi Brian Hanlan,

“so it seems thar i chosed custom installation of wi ndow2s 8”

Did you reinstalled your Windows 7 with a DVD or external USB drive? When did you perform?

“i deleted a partition without backing it

How did you delete it? During Windows 8 installation?

As I know when you performing a installation, the device will require to connect internet to load necessary drivers at the last step of installation.

If it is not deleted in custom installation, system partition would not be deleted, and driver is installed in system partition by default.

You could update your system through Windows Update, this step could help you install the necessary drivers automatically.

For third party driver, we could download from the device manufacturer website.

    Best regards,

    Joy.
