Windows 10 installing from image restart loop

    Question

  • I have already taken my custom image and uploaded it to our Window 2012 R2 server with wds. The issue comes in when i try to install the image to a computer. We are able to network boot, connect to the server, and choose the image we want just fine. The problem is during the install it gets to about 60-70% through with getting the files ready for install and then it shuts itself down and restarts. There is no power loss and its not just one pc that has done it either. When it boots back up we get a windows symbol and the loading dots then it restarts and just does it over and over again. I am sorry if this is something that has already been posted before but i couldn't find anything like our issue so any help is appreciated.

    Hi ,

We could check the setup.log(C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther) (hidden) to find what caused this issue. But, based on your description, this issue occurs on more than one machines. If this issue occurs on all machines, it could be related to your custom image or WDS settings. You could also ask our WDS forum for help.
